In 2011, the National Hazardous Chemicals Emergency Rescue Technical Guidance Center was officially established based on the dedicated line, marking that the dedicated line will play an important role in the national chemical accident emergency rescue system.

In the same year, the three major oil companies, PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC, jointly established an emergency rescue linkage coordination group, with a dedicated line as the secretariat, focusing on the integration of emergency resources of the three major oil companies, providing technical support for national chemical accident emergency linkage.

By 2017, after nearly 20 years of development, the dedicated line had more than 10000 member companies including DuPont, Bayer, Dow, Sinopec, PetroChina, etc. It had answered over 70000 phone inquiries and handled more than 5000 chemical information and accident consultations. Typical chemical accidents handled included the 2011 Dalian Petrochemical Company fire and explosion accident, Jilin Petrochemical Company aniline plant explosion accident and Songhua River water pollution incident, Chongqing Tianyuan Chemical Plant liquid chlorine leakage accident, Shenzhen Dapeng Bay Sanmen Island sea area Panamanian liquefied gas ship fire accident, Chongqing major blowout and other accidents.
